Milwaukee Area Nanny Nominated for Nanny of the Year Award

March 27, 2009 - PRLog -- Perfect Match Nannies & Sitters, Inc. (“PMNS”), serving all of Wisconsin, with base office in Janesville, recently nominated Marcia Hall for the 2009 International Nanny Association’s (“INA”) highest nanny award “Nanny of the Year” (“NOTY”).

Hall graduated from the English Nanny & Governess School in Ohio and has worked as a Certified Professional Nanny for over 12 years in the Southern WI area. She is also a 2008 credentialed nanny of the INA. She has worked with all age groups and ability levels, including special needs. She is working towards becoming a Certified Parent Coach in the future. She currently holds a full-time nanny position that she was placed with through PMNS, in Mequon, WI. Hall will be traveling to the INA Yearly Conference in April, being held in Dallas, TX.  After nomination, Hall completed an intense application process, with many references, essays and 4 copies of her professional portfolio submitted, in entirety, to the INA NOTY Committee. The Committee is comprised of past NOTY Award Winners and others closely affiliated with the INA. The INA  has been presenting the award to one deserving Professional Nanny since 1990. Past winners include nannies who have gone on to be authors, speakers and business owners and who are considered the absolute best in their fields.

PMNS places nannies, home managers, parent helpers & governesses. PMNS also places on-call sitters in the Southern part of WI. The agency has been featured in numerous national publications, on local news broadcasts and supports local civic and community activities. PMNS owner, Nettie Weber, a nationally recognized leader in the nanny industry, serves on committees for the International Nanny Association (“INA”) and has been a featured speaker at 3 past conferences for both INA and National Association for Nanny Care (“NANC”).

The International Nanny Association, a nonprofit organization formed in 1985, serves as the umbrella organization for the in-home child care industry. INA members include nannies, nanny employers, nanny agencies, educators and industry service providers. For almost a quarter of a century, INA has worked to professionalize the industry by setting high standards for industry professionals and nanny agencies. INA leverages the expertise of industry professionals from around the globe to help increase awareness about the industry, to develop the professional skills of nannies, and to educate parents about the benefits of hiring a qualified nanny to care for their children.
