The Box Gallery celebrates its one-year anniversary with Kraken and Kraten

Jan. 6, 2009 - PRLog -- “In commemoration of our one-year anniversary, I would like to thank all the artists, collectors, press, patrons and visitors for your interest and support the past year,” says Johnny Sampson, curator at The Box.  “The last twelve months have seen incredible change—it has been an exciting year and we look forward to the next!  We at The Box gallery have renewed our commitment to showcase challenging work by incredible emergent artists. To honor this promise and celebrate the New Year, it is The Box gallery’s proud pleasure to exhibit Aaron Kraten and Keith Noordzy for our anniversary exhibition”.

Southern California artist Aaron Kraten manipulates mixed media and discarded objects to parse narrative into figurative and pictorial symbols. Video game artist, professional illustrator, toy designer, and Los Angeles based painter, Keith Noordzy brings a fun flare and playfulness to today's urban art scene.
