Follow on Google News | Renowned Summer Arts Camp Announces New Two-week Sessions For 2008Summer arts camp for music, dance, theater, visual arts and more has added 2-week sessions to make it easier for young people from NJ, NY and PA to attend.
“ We are thrilled to be able to offer this new camp opportunity,” Set in a secluded southern New Jersey location nestled amid preserved farmland and orchards near Elmer (Salem County), Appel Farm Arts and Music Center is less than an hour drive from the major cities of Philadelphia and Wilmington and approximately a 2 1/2 hour drive from the Newark/New York area. Swim and sports are also highlighted and the camp boasts a short-course Olympic-sized swimming pool. Two-week session dates run June 22-July 6 and July 20-August 3, 2008 (Sunday-Sunday) Parents are encouraged to contact the camp at (856) 358-2472 for more information and to speak directly to Ms. Quinn, or to Assistant Camp Director Cori North. Now in its fifth decade, Appel Farm has evolved into a multidisciplinary regional arts center serving audiences, artists and students through local, regional, national and international programs on a year-round basis.
