A sportsperson who competes under the banner of the Athlete Refugee Team, the 3000 m steeplechase is Idbafdil's event.

In 2023, Idbafdil logged a record best time of 8:34.72, crossing another personal milestone. He takes each step, on and off the track, with hard work, perseverance, and courage.
