STUTTGART, Germany - May 20, 2025 - PRLog -- MARKT-PILOT, a leading provider of software for market-based spare parts pricing in machine manufacturing is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Founded by Tobias Rieker and Amin Oumhamdi in Esslingen near Stuttgart (Germany), the company has since developed from a start-up to a leading player in the industry. With its intelligent software solutions and services, MARKT-PILOT is changing the industry sustainably and setting new standards in the aftermarket and in the pricing of spare parts.

The idea for MARKT-PILOT was born out of the realization that market data is crucial for pricing in the parts business. Supported by the founding initiative GründES! at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences, the two entrepreneurs developed an innovative software solution for monitoring price information in the parts business of machine manufacturing companies in 2020.

MARKT-PILOT focused on internationalization at an early stage. After establishing itself in Germany, the company expanded to the U.S. as well as to Scandinavia and Italy. With offices in Chicago, Stockholm and Milan, it strengthened its global presence. MARKT-PILOT is a "Top Company 2025" and amongst the most popular employers in Germany.

The Series A financing round in 2024 yielded $43M which was allocated towards the development of new products and other initiatives. MARKT-PILOT has also purposefully built up a network of partners, many of whom are among the leading providers in their respective market segments due to their expertise. Existing cooperations are to be expanded and new ones concluded to further advance the market penetration of MARKT-PILOT.

MARKT-PILOT is continuously developing its software solutions and consistently relies on AI technology. In this way, the company wants to provide its customers with even more precise data. The primary goal is to further expand the products to enable high-precision pricing for any type of part based on automated market research – regardless of sub-industry or product category.
