Acosta Sheet Metal Manufacturing's Michelle Acosta named to WIC Bay Area Board of Directors

SAN JOSE, Calif. - Feb. 27, 2024 - PRLog -- Ahead of Women in Construction week, Women in Construction (https://www.wicbayarea.org/) Bay Area—a Bay Area SMACNA Mission Partner—named Acosta Sheet Metal Manufacturing vice president of operations Michelle Acosta to its Board of Directors.

On the board of directors of the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association, Bay Area Chapter (Bay Area SMACNA), Acosta was also named to the Silicon Valley Business Journals' 2022 Women of Influence, a list encompassing women from every industry and profession who have made a difference in their communities. Recognized as a leader in numerous collegiate, young professional, and nonprofit organizations, she is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in outreach within the manufacturing industry. She also serves at 99Bridges, a sustainable data exchange company.

WIC Bay Area was founded over five years ago and stemmed from a need to provide resources and networking to women in the HVAC/Sheet Metal industry. The nonprofit provides educational, networking and resource opportunities for women in the sheet metal industry.
