Child First Authority to Host 18th Annual "Show What You Know" Event this May
 
BALTIMORE - April 28, 2023 - PRLog -- Child First Authority, Inc. presents its 17th Annual "Show What You Know" event taking place on Wednesday, May 24 from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at the James Weldon Johnson Auditorium at Coppin State University. Over 800 parents, students, teachers, partners, and supporters will be in attendance, student performances will feature video presentations, dance, choir, drumline and poetry. Academic and visual art presentations of learning will also be featured. The participating students hail from 13 local schools in twelve different Baltimore City neighborhoods who participate in Child First programs. "We are so proud of our students who attend our community schools and take part in our afterschool and summer learning programs. This is a real opportunity for them to shine and share with their family and friends all they have learned throughout the year. Show What You Know also affords us a chance to come together as a community of parents, teachers, and supporters alike to celebrate our youth and recognize our collective accomplishments" said Danista Hunte, Executive Director for Child First Authority.

This year, the participating schools include Barclay Elementary Middle School, Belmont Elementary School, Calvin Rodwell Elementary Middle School, City Springs Elementary Middle School, Dorothy I. Height Elementary School, Eutaw Marshburn Elementary School, Furman L. Templeton Preparatory Academy, Leith Walk Elementary Middle School, Liberty Elementary School, Lillie May Carroll Jackson Charter School, Mary E. Rodman Elementary, Robert W. Coleman Elementary School.
