By the time the decade ended, Tommy James and the Shondells had followed through with an amazing run of 13 more Top 40 hits, from I Think We're Alone Now and Mirage to Mony Mony, Crystal Blue Persuasion and Crimson and Clover, the last of which became their second No. 1 in 1968. To date, Tommy has 23 gold singles, 9 platinum albums, over a hundred million records sold worldwide, and 32 Billboard hot 100 chart hits. He has received five BMI "Million Air" awards in recognition of 22 million broadcast spins of his songs. Tommy's critically acclaimed autobiography, Me, the Mob and the Music is on Rolling Stone's Top 25 Best Music Memoirs list and is in production to become a major motion picture. He was inducted into the prestigious New Jersey Hall of Fame and received The Pittsburgh Legend Award. You can hear Tommy on his own show on Sirius XM Radio, Gettin' Together with Tommy James, every Sunday evening from 5 to 8 PM.
