HOPE Sheds Light receives $9K donation from Walmart

TOMS RIVER, N.J. - Nov. 30, 2022 - PRLog -- HOPE Sheds Light, Inc. (HSL), a family focused non-profit organization offering education, resources, support and HOPE to everyone and anyone affected by substance use disorder, has received a $9,000 donation from local Walmart stores in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.

"As part of this donation, HOPE Sheds Light will conduct on-site outreach events in our new Mobile Hope Resource Van at various Walmart locations stretching from as far south as Little Egg Harbor and Manahawkin and as far North as Neptune and Freehold –  blanketing both counties," said Pamela Capaci, CEO of HOPE Sheds Light. "We are passionate about helping anyone in need, and HOPE Sheds Light is here to provide those individuals and their families with the resources they need to find a hope for a future free from the confines of addiction."

Founded in 2012 after co-founder Ron Rosetto lost his son Marc to a battle against substance abuse.  HOPE Sheds Light acts as a voice of hope in a community in desperate need of knowing that recovery is possible. Along with Co-founders Arvo Prima and Stephen Willis, and a team of board members and volunteers, HSL aims to shed light into the shadows of stigma and fear.
