Snell & Wilmer Welcomes Michael B. Bennett to the Salt Lake City Office

SALT LAKE CITY - Aug. 9, 2022 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Michael B. Bennett (https://www.swlaw.com/people/michael_bennett) has joined the Salt Lake City office as a senior attorney in the Commercial Finance group.

Bennett comes to Snell & Wilmer from a nationwide health services provider, where he served as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. In his previous role, he managed health law and compliance, real property and leasing, and mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to his in-house experience, Bennett also has experience in private practice. He has represented lenders in the areas of financing and acquisitions. He has advised corporate clients in the areas of real property, corporate financing, mergers & acquisitions, healthcare law, creditors rights, Federal and State Regulatory Compliance, corporate formation and maintenance, contracts and vendor management. Additionally, Bennett has experience working with Federal and State Regulatory agencies in the area of privacy and information protection, including HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act and other privacy regulations.

Bennett is licensed to practice in Utah and Oregon. He received his J.D. from the Brigham Young University J. Reuben Clark School of Law, his MBA from the BYU Marriott Graduate School of Management and his B.S. in accounting from BYU.
