CHARLOTTE, N.C. - June 16, 2022 - PRLog -- Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) has been under fire over the last few years, and COVID-19 didn't make it any better. From the dismissal of the most recent superintendent to the large number of confiscated guns in schools across the region, it appears students have been taking a back seat; Until now.

Many students across the country, especially in transition grades: 3rd, 5th, and 8th, may feel a bit lost or out of their academic element post-pandemic. CMS has stepped up and is providing much-needed Out-of-School Time Tutorial Services to over 7,500 students this summer! PIMOSH comes alongside to assist in educational matters.

People Involved in Motivating Our Students Higher (PIMOSH) has partnered with Char-Meck Schools to provide Tutorial & Academic Mentoring to all students, k-12, and will start sessions soon.

Finally, being smart pays off through a partnership between Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and PIMOSH. PIMOSH is CALLING ALL HIGH-ACHIEVERS to ensure our students get the most out of their educational summer.   These jobs are open to folks 18 or older who are no longer attending public school.

High-achievers, College and University students are encouraged to apply to PIMOSH, and staff, including volunteers, must be CMS "CLEARED" before they can work. See below for 7 Easy Steps to creating Overachievers Faster:

1. Apply for a Summer Job  as PIMOSH Tutorial and Academic Mentor
2. Get "CLEARED" through Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools (CMS)
3. Attend Positive Youth Development & Staff Training (MANDATORY/PAID)
4. School and Student Case Load Assignments
5. CONGRATULATIONS - You've Completed Session Number One
6. Complete Session Report(s) for Each of Your Students
7. Wash, Rinse, and Repeat!

If you stay consistent, so will ALL your students, and we ALL find success! For every 100 students, there is a team of up to five administrators working in the background to ensure administrators, guidance counselors, and parents are working with PIMOSH every day.
