DJ Perry Returns To Genre Roots With 'BESTSELLER' Release

LANSING, Mich. - June 14, 2022 - PRLog -- Actor, screenwriter, and producer DJ Perry got an early start in the horror genre by starring in the infamous monster movie IN THE WOODS. Soon after Collective Development Inc. was established with KNIGHT CHILLS as the kick-off film. A spoof on the demonic accusations against role-playing games like 'Dungeons and Dragons,' that once made headlines. In the 2000's to present day, DJ could be seen co-starring in films like THE 8th PLAGUE, GPS, DARKEST NIGHT, and DEADLY RENOVATIONS. These years also saw him diversifying into several westerns like JUDGES, GHOST TOWN, MIRACLE AT SAGE CREEK and WILD FAITH. He even can be seen in several biblical/inspirational adventures like CDI's 'The Quest Trilogy' (FORTY NIGHTS, CHASING THE STAR and THE CHRIST SLAYER), BOOK OF RUTH and LOST HEART.

DJ is happy that one of his favorite films in the horror/thriller genre is finally getting its worldwide home video release with Deskpop Entertainment. The project BESTSELLER, was produced for the very popular author Christopher Wright. He writes his children's books under the pen-name, Jonathan Rand. He's sold millions of his AMERICAN CHILLER, MICHIGAN CHILLER, ADVENTURE CLUB books worldwide. The home video release started on May 31^st, 2022. It will continue rolling out to more distribution platforms throughout the year. DJ Perry also has the comedy/drama BEST YEARS GONE, releasing on July 5^th and the WW2 Christmas-drama, SILENT NIGHT IN ALGONA, theatrical release will start in December 2022. While DJ's audiences have gotten to know him from several film genres, he still holds a soft spot for the genre who put him on the map.
