Nepal: No RT-PCR test required for fully vaccinated travellers

The Government of Nepal's Covid-19 Crisis Management Coordination Centre (CCMC) eliminates the PCR test requirement for individuals traveling Nepal who are completely vaccinated against COVID-19.
 
KATHMANDU, Nepal - March 11, 2022 - PRLog -- Nepal has recently announced   to make Nepal travel easier for fully vaccinated overseas visitors in order to enhance tourism in the country. International travelers will now be able to travel Nepal without having to undergo a pre-departure PCR test. All they have to do now is provide their vaccination record.

The tourist revival committee will advise the government on a variety of topics, including policy reforms, promotional events, branding, infrastructure, marketing and promotion, service standardization, product development, and more, in order to ensure the country's long-term tourism growth.

Post-COVID Nepal Travel initiatives include:

For fully immunized travelers, the required PCR test is waived.
- During this period of revival, airlines will provide special discounts for individual traveling to Nepal.
- Also, the hotels will be offering at least a 20% discount to the international visitors for their services.
- The Nepal Ministry of Tourism has appointed Nirmal Purja, the record-breaking Nepalese Mountaineer, as the Goodwill Ambassador for Nepal's tourism.

Reports also added that the recovery committee will announce further action plans and recovery initiatives very soon within April 2022.
