Adoptees Join Against Child Trafficking for First-Ever Adoption Trafficking Awareness Symposium
Against Child Trafficking and adult adoptees of Adoption Truth & Transparency Worldwide Information Network join forces in a historic first-ever educational event on the crisis of adoption trafficking.
By: Adoption Truth and Transparency Worldwide Network
What are adult adoptees saying about adoption today? Hear the stories from across the nation and overseas, representing the U.S., First Nations, India, South Korea, Haiti, China, Chile, Guatemala, Spain, and Colombia for an all-day private event to shine light on the unknown adoptee-centric narratives that need to be told—all rooted in one thing: the practice of adoption.
Special guests include Arun Dohle, the investigational field researcher from Against Child Trafficking, to speak on the crisis of adoption trafficking. Mr. Dohle was adopted from India to Germany in the early 70s. He is now the Executive Director of ACT Europe and will be traveling from India to Washington State to speak on the intersection between international adoption and child trafficking.
The author of Adoption History: An Adoptee's Research, The Search for Mother Missing, and Adoptionland:
"This is a book with a thorough discussion of a serious, timely topic. Good for all adult readers, but especially valuable for anyone considering international adoption. Extremely well-written and researched."
