The walking holiday is based at some of Nepal's finest mountain lodges and reveals two distinct areas of the Himalaya: the lush scenery of the Annapurna foothills and remote Lower Mustang - known as the 'desert in the sky.'

As the journey unfolds, behold both the spectacular 8000m plus peaks of the Annapurnas, and the Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountain ranges.

The hiking commences with a scenic three-night journey along the Annapurna foothills trail through a lush landscape of terraced farmlands, colourful villages, and rhododendron forests.

Then, on continuing by jeep towards Jomsom, the terrain changes dramatically as you near Lower Mustang, and is characterised by a barren desert scape dotted with austere Buddhist monasteries.

In Lower Mustang, enjoy scenic day hikes along historic caravan routes, discover the Tibetan culture of the Forbidden Kingdom of Lo, and behold the lunar-like landscape to Kagbeni.

The holiday can start on any day (flights permitting) and costs from £3225 per person (two sharing a room).
