The journey includes stays at several charming boutique hotels and will take you through the unspoiled Troad and ancient Aeolia.

It commences in Istanbul, with a privately guided food-themed tour, that includes  both sides of the Bosphorus and a chance to explore some of the hidden corners of this incredible city, in the most delicious way.

Next is a visit to the WW1 battlefields of Gallipoli where, for almost 12 months from February 1915, over 500,000 soldiers lost their lives during the infamous campaign, as Britain and her allies sought to defeat the Otterman Empire.

Also included in the itinerary, are the ruins of Priam's Troy – the last and legendary King of Troy during the Trojan War – Mt. Ida, and Cunda Island on the Gulf of Edremit, off the north-west coast of Ayvalik, and which is just 10 miles east of the Greek island of Lesbos.

The holiday ends with two days to relax and enjoy the quaint cobbled lanes, boutiques, colourful bougainvillea-draped houses, and crystal-clear waters of Alacati.

The small traditional seaside town is famed for its former Greek village with stone houses, narrow streets, boutique hotels and restaurants with tables on the streets.
