SS Innovations was founded in 2016 with single focus product lines – used with Robotic assisted Surgeries especially for Cardiac surgeries.

Dr. Sudhir Srivastava's accomplishments include the fact that he performed the world's first single vessel beating heart TECAB in the United States. He also proceeded to perform two world's first double and triple vessel TECAB on a beating heart and is the only person in the world to have performed a quadruple vessel beating heart TECAB. He has performed over 1400 robotic cardiothoracic surgeries, including 735 beating heart TECAB cases that represents the largest experience in the world. As one of the world's leading experts in robotic surgery, he is frequently an invited speaker for various national, international scientific meetings. To date, SSI has made significant progress in designing and developing the prototype of the multi-arm surgical robotics system, validation of the instrumentation and conducting of two rounds of animal trials with the successive generations of the system. The current phase of development is focused on further refining the development of the next generation multi-arm robotic system which would be followed by in-human clinical trials in India leading to commercial launch of the system on post successful completion of trials.
