Mark Hadley's Double Walker Original Score to be Released

LOS ANGELES - Oct. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Mark Hadley's score to the upcoming horror thriller, Double Walker is getting released on November 12, 2021. The album consists of 12 original tracks. The film, directed by Colin West, is getting distributed by Cranked Up Films on November 12, 2021. The film stars Sylvie Mix, Jacob Rice, Maika Carter, Justin Rose, Tina Matthews, and Quinn Armstrong. Some of Mark's other credits include Into the Dark: My Valentine, Survival Skills and Rectify. The score will be available on all major digital sites including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon and Apple Music.

When discussing the film's score Mark says, "The score for Double Walker was inspired by the themes of duality and humanity, as well as the wintery aesthetic which the film captures so well. I worked with a percussionist to create unsettling metallic textures, embracing experimental techniques like using an electric toothbrush on an almglocken (a Swedish cow bell) and juxtaposed these tones with warmer organic elements like piano, cello and harp."

The Double Walker synopsis reads: A young Ghost walks the earth and haunts her cold Midwestern hometown, trying to piece together the horrific flashes of memories from her past. One by one she kills the men she believes were responsible for her death, though her plan is derailed when she meets Jack, a kind movie theater usher who inadvertently intercepts as she's stalking her next victim… While Jack takes her in and offers her a glimpse at a normal life, her desire to avenge her own murder lingers on.

Mark Hadley, https://www.markhadleymusic.com/, is a music composer, producer and artist. Originally from Rochester, NY (Seneca land,) and currently based in Los Angeles, CA (Tongva Land,) Hadley has been writing music since a young age. Along with an affinity for unearthing new sounds, Hadley's studies of jazz and classical music have served as the backdrop to his musical output. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2011, Hadley began his career working as an assistant to a TV composer, contributing additional music to shows like Modern Family and Rectify, and earning an ASCAP award for his work on ABC Family's Twisted in 2015. After scoring several short films between 2016-2019, Hadley co-composed the original score for Into The Dark: My Valentine, produced by Blumhouse and Hulu in 2020. This year, in 2021, Hadley has composed the original scores for two more feature films: Double Walker and Linoleum. In addition to film scores, Hadley also composes music for commercials and trailers for major brands including Apple, NBA, Netflix, Coca Cola, Amazon, A24, Lexus, Patron and more.
