Professional Background Screening Association Announces 2021-22 Secretary/Treasurer

RALEIGH, N.C. - Sept. 14, 2021 - PRLog -- PBSA is pleased to announce that board member Chad Ascar, IntelliCorp Records, will join the 2021-22 executive committee as Secretary/Treasurer of PBSA.

Ascar has been an outstanding member of PBSA leadership for many years. Prior to serving on the board of directors, Chad has been involved with the Government Relations Committee and has held Co-Chair roles for the Litigation Avoidance Sub-Committee and the Industry Practices Committee. He was also actively involved in PBSA producing its first ever Industry Survey in partnership with HR.com.

This new role as Secretary/Treasurer was a natural progression of his stellar volunteer journey and we're looking forward to seeing how Chad will guide the association in the years to come," says Michelle Leblond, 2020-21 PBSA Chair.

Joining Ascar as Officers for 2021-22 are: Kelly Uebel, Asurint, chair; Scott Maloney, Omni Data Retrieval, chair elect; and Michelle Leblond, PlusOne Solutions Inc., immediate past chair. The new leadership terms begin September 12, 2021, during the 2021 PBSA Annual Conference in Anaheim, Calif.

Serving on the board as Directors are: Sachin Aggarwal, AMS Inform; Dean Carras, Appriss; Elizabeth Fitzell, Sterling RISQ; Tim Gordon, InfoMart; Noelle Harling, Frasco Profiles; David Hutchinson, PeopleCheck; Katie Kulp, Certn; and Summa McCosker, HireRight/PeopleCheck.

The PBSA Councils (APAC, Canada, Europe, and U.S.) represent a group of members who share a geographic region, each reporting to the PBSA Board of Directors. The 2021-22 Council Leadership teams are as follows:
- APAC Council: Shakil Gour, Neeyamo, chair; and Chetan Desai, SecureSearch, chair elect.
- Canada Council: Derek Smith, ModoHR, chair; and Mark Sward, Sterling, chair elect.
- Europe Council: Susie Thomson, Security Watchdog, chair;  Laura Rosianu, MindIt, chair elect.
- U.S. Council: Melissa Foiles, ISB Global Services, chair; and Andy Hellman, Accurate Background, chair elect.
