COVID-19 Update on Aeromexico Cancellation

Here we provide information about some Aeromexico airline cancellations or ticket changes due to COVID-19.

For bookings on or after January 11, 2021:
If the reserved ticket number starts with 139, it means that the ticket was also booked on or after January 11, 2021.

We recently amended the terms and conditions of branded fares. In accordance with the amended terms and conditions, you may change the flight date at no additional cost.

This applies to Classic Aeromexico fares, AM Plus flight fares, Comfort Zone fares, Flexible Alias ​​​​fares and Premier fares. Does not apply to base fares.

Branded fares apply if your flight is booked through another country on or after August 1, 2021.

1:- Voluntary change:

If the passenger wishes to change the itinerary according to his/her choice. Three of the following options are available:

Use our free surcharge to rebook flights on new routes and dates (any date) without paying anything. The difference is paid by the passenger.
You can request a refund in EMD format. EMD is 100% payable, meaning an electronic voucher that can be used for future travel.
You will receive the requested refund within 12 months of the application date. This refund will be credited to the original source of payment (effective from 11/1/2022).
Always remember, even if you voluntarily create a bulge in your travel price tag. I ended up paying a small fee to the airline.
2:- Involuntary change:
In this case, you can rebook your flight without paying a fee. Routes or dates vary depending on the traveler. The difference between the two tickets is not charged.
If the departure date of the rebooked flight is within 14 days of the previous flight, the passenger will not bear the fare difference.
You can request a refund and you will receive it within one year (12 months) of request. If you wish to receive a refund in the form of an EMD (electronic voucher), you can do so. Because it can be used 100% as a fare.
You can request a refund from January 11, 2022.
Passengers who have booked a flight at the base fare can also rebook the flight or request a refund.
A fare difference will be charged for the following booking dates:
June 25, 2021 - August 23, 2021

December 15, 2021 - January 10, 2022

February 4, 2022 - February 7, 2022

March 18, 2022 - March 21, 2022

April 8, 2022 - April 25, 2022
