COE Distributing Makes 9th Appearance on Pittsburgh Business Times List of Fastest-Growing Companies

UNIONTOWN, Pa. - Aug. 27, 2021 - PRLog -- COE Distributing, one of the nation's largest wholesale distributors of office furnishings, has again been ranked among the Pittsburgh region's 50 most rapidly growing, privately held companies by The Pittsburgh Business Times.

The 2021 Fast 50 were celebrated at an event at The Westin Pittsburgh Thursday where it was revealed COE ranked 49 on the list.

To qualify for this award, companies were required to have at least $2,000,000 in revenue in 2018. The Fast 50 are then ranked by the percentage of revenue growth from 2018 to 2020 for this year's rankings. COE achieved nearly 25% growth in sales in that time frame, joining a prestigious list of flourishing companies from diverse industries.

Companies making this year's list charted impressive growth leading up to the pandemic and maintained their momentum despite the impacts of COVID-19 on 2020 operations.

Temporarily pivoting into manufacturing as well as changing its marketing focus, COE met the demand for products to make offices safer and help people work from home more comfortably and efficiently. Big shifts allowed COE to remain relevant during the pandemic not only avoiding layoffs, but also hiring new staff and achieving its highest revenue months in company history.
