Poonhill - Himalayan Asia Trek

Poonhill is one of the famous view point in Annapurna Base Camp Trek and Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek.
 
KATHMANDU, Nepal - Feb. 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Poon Hill  is a small mountain from where people explore the Annapurna Massif reach and Dhaulagiri mountain range, situated on boundary of Myagdi District and Kaski District in Gandaki Pradesh of Nepal. This post is the critical perspective in the Ghorepani Poon Hill journey. Mountains, for example, an Annapurna South 7,219 Meter, Machapuchare 6,993 Meter, Hinchuli, Annapurna III, Dhampus top, Dhulariri II, and numerous other tall pinnacles can be seen from here.

Poon Hill is found 270 km west from Kathmandu (The capital of Nepal). The climb to Poon Hill from Pokhara takes 2–3 days.[2] The Poon Hill perspective is en route to Annapurna Base Camp Trek, Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek which lies in the focal point of Annapurna Conservation Area. Travelers need to acquire an ACCAP Permit from Kathmandu to finish this climb.

From Poonhill , we can see different peak Dhaulagiri (8,167 m), Annapurna I (8,091 m ),Annapurna South (7,219 m) ,Machapuchare (6,993 m) ,Annapurna II (7,937 m),Annapurna III (7,555 m ), Gangapurna (7,455 m) ,Tukuche peak (6,920 m) ,Dhampus peak (6,012 m) ,Hiunchuli (6,441 m),Gurja Himal (7,193 m ) and Nilgiri Himal (7,061 m) .
