NEW YORK - Feb. 16, 2021 - PRLog -- Knight was a New York Native and by his own admission proudly stated "I grew up in the suburbs of Hell's Kitchen." After serving in Vietnam, Knight pursued a successful 50+ year career in the music industry gaining his start at Associated Booking Corporation (ABC) then headed by the late Oscar Cohen. During Knight's tenure, the agency represented such artists as Barry White, Bobby Blue Bland, Alice Cooper, the Allman Brothers, Joe Walsh, REO Speedwagon, ELO, and Bob Marley.

After his time at ABC, Knight continued to Buddy Lee Attractions as the agency's Head of Contemporary Music Department (Northeast) and representative of Johnny Paycheck. Later becoming an agent at Mecca Artists, whose past representation include Richard Pryor, Rodney Dangerfield, and Redd Foxx. Knight subsequently continued to Headline Talent Inc. with Vito Picone.

During his 25 year stint at Headline Talent Inc., Knight (being one of the company's first employees since opening day) quickly became one of the spearheads for many of the bookings. Knight brought a variety of acts to the table, some being Liza Minnelli; Tiny Tim; Bill Cosby; and The Persuasions, the country's biggest acapella group, signed exclusively with Headline Talent Inc. for 20 years.

In 2009 UAA welcomed Knight who is credited for bringing innovative and beloved "R&B and Oldies" one-off and package shows for tours such as  "Sounds of the '60s" featuring the Drifters, Coasters, and Platters, among others.

Knight was a dedicated father (with son, Ian and daughter, Nicky, as his biggest priorities in life) and a beloved friend. Co-owner Jeff Epstein says "We lost a true family member. Glen was an integral part of the fabric at UAA; he lived, bled, and loved Universal. He will be truly missed and our hearts are heavy from this loss. Our prayers go out to his family and friends."

Comparing himself to a 1950's Cadillac, Knight knew he was a limited edition "1947 Glen Knight" no one could compare. Funny, wise, and dedicated, Glen Knight left us all with words of wisdom, "'Get the Money' 'Remember To Get The Money' 'Always Remember To Get The Money!'"
