Hughes has worked with other military nonprofits in the past, such as The Wounded Warriors Foundation and he plans on continuing that trend for as long as he can. Hughes has a special place in his heart for all of those serving our country and hopes to make an impact through this new partnership. Hope For The Warriors purpose is to restore a sense of self, family and hope. They provide comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans, and military families that are focused on transition, health and wellness, peer engagement, and connections to community resources. Hope For The Warriors provides outdoor recovery methods for those veterans who have always enjoyed being outside in nature. "Being an avid outdoorsman, I appreciate that Hope For The Warriors recognizes the healing powers of being outside," Hughes said. "Their recreation team not only provides programs and virtual services to keep our country's military families active, they also understand that sports and outdoor activities connect people and build communities. We have to work together -as a community; a family of veterans- to make sure our warriors and their families have the support and care they need." Hughes has always made sure to be on top of his charitable initiatives, and this partnership with Hope For The Warriors helps him not only continue to give back, but also say thank you to those who are serving our country.
