Saskatchewan Declared Two PNP Draws

NEW DELHI - Oct. 30, 2020 - PRLog -- Saskatchewan announced the results for two PNP draws that happened on October 21 and October 7, 2020. In the SINP draw held on October21, 2020, the province of Saskatchewan issued invitations to a total of 618 immigration categories, out of which 340 candidates received invitations through the Express Entry Category and the remaining 278 candidates received invitations through the Occupations-in-demand category. The lowest scores of the candidate were 69 and 78 respectively.

To talk about the SINP draw that took place on October 7, 2020, 455 invitations were issued to the candidates who applied in the Express Entry Stream. The scores of the lowest-ranked candidate were 70 which mean that a candidate needs to have a minimum score of 70 in order to receive an invitation from the province of Saskatchewan.

Saskatchewan Express Entry Category

The Saskatchewan Express Entry Category is directly aligned with the Federal Express Entry System that manages applications on the basis of three economic immigration streams such as FSWP (Federal skilled worker program), FSTP (Federal skilled trades program) and CEC (Canadian experience class). If a candidate is eligible under the SINP and any of the three categories, they may receive an invitation for a provincial nomination from the province of Saskatchewan.

With the help of this invitation, a candidate can apply for provincial nomination. Post that, the province of Saskatchewan awards them with additional 600 scores towards the CRS score.

Saskatchewan Occupations-in-demand Category

On the other hand the Saskatchewan Occupations-in-demand category is for the candidates who don't have any profile in the Express Entry. The main idea behind the introduction o this stream was to invite the immigration candidates who have relevant years of work experience in the occupations that face acute shortage in the labour market of Saskatchewan.
