The New Forest Safari is 'Good to Go'!
By: Go New Forest
There are three routes, all clearly marked on the free map – Red (the wild northwest), Green (the beautiful southeast) and Blue (the coastal southwest) – and ticket holders can hop on and hop off at their leisure (switching routes if so desired), as they enjoy the towns, villages, ponies, donkeys and spectacular scenery of the New Forest from an elevated position.
As you gently cruise through the forest, there is an onboard audio commentary – with characters, sounds and music, bringing the view to life – with some fascinating facts about the national park.
There is even space on board for up to four bicycles, for any tired cyclists that need a lift (the bikes go free)!
Passengers also qualify for 20% off at some of the New Forest's top attractions, including Beaulieu National Motor Museum (and Palace and Abbey), Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway, New Forest Wildlife Park, New Forest Activities (who offer canoeing, bush craft and more), Hythe Ferry and Ringwood Brewery Shop, on presentation of the tour ticket.
Please note that, due to the current situation, entrance to forest attractions should be booked in advance of arrival.
Tickets are available to book online and are also available using the clickit2ride mobile app. Guests are asked to avoid paying by cash where possible.
