Family Resource Associate's Golf Classic is on!FRA's 39th Annual Golf Classic will take place on Monday, July 13 at Navesink Country Club in Middletown.

JB Worster, Kevin Bell, Tyler Jones and Chael Bell "The golf outing has always been FRA's number one fundraiser, however this year's golf outing looks a little different because it will be held completely outdoors and we are limited by the number of golfers we can have," said Chael Bell, Chair of the Golf Committee. "As of right now, we are capped at 100 golfers due to social distancing." This year's Live Auction will feature bigger ticket items. "We have golf foursomes to area golf clubs, various ticket donations, as well as a meet and greet ticket with Mike Piazza in New York City," said Bell. The 50/50 raffle will also be drawn at the golf outing, but the winner does not need to be present. All event proceeds will go toward FRA's COVID-19 relief fund. "We are going to use these proceeds to provide direct relief within FRA," said Bell. "We will enhance our virtual abilities for the offsite services we provide to our students. We will also COVID-19 proof our buildings to better allow for social distancing by adding more desks, plexiglass partitions and picnic tables for outside lunches. We are eagerly preparing for students to return to FRA." Now in its 39th year, the entire FRA staff plays a key role in the annual event. "My role as Chair is to be the quarterback of the committee, and it really is an amazing experience to see everything come together," said Bell. "It's all hands-on deck that day, and I am looking at this golf outing as the first step toward our new normal – a bright, new normal."
