Thomas shares, "The American Moving & Storage Association (AMSA) has great tips to help those with an upcoming move plan and prepare for packing and moving day."

Three Tips from the AMSA:

1. Provide your moving crew unlimited access to a sink, soap, and paper towels  or at a minimum hand sanitizer.

2. Purchase new moving boxes. You do not know who has touched the recycled moving boxes.

3. If you have food you will not be taking with you consider donating it Move for Hunger or your local food pantry to help lighten your load.

Thomas adds "If someone in your household is ill or in the vulnerable group, we will work with you on rescheduling your move if possible. We do our best to ensure that our employees are healthy and free from illness. If you are not in the vulnerable group and wish to reschedule your move, we understand and respect your decision.  We will do our best to accommodate you.
