#standupTOGETHER - A Call from Italy

NEW YORK, N.J. - April 6, 2020 - PRLog -- #STANDUPTOGETHER - A Call from Italy is the new social campaign launched by the New York-based communication agency Italian Hub Corporation and i-Italy Network, in collaboration with the Milan advertising creative Pasquale Diaferia of SpecialTeam.

The project crosses the issue of the Coronavirus pandemia and the role of Italy in the eyes of the world. We are aware that in recent weeks there have been serious communication problems regarding the global image of Italy. That's why we set to create a "bottom-up" task force to reverse the trend.

#STANDUPTOGETHER is the natural prosecution of the "antivirus campaign" #StandUPforItaly, launched in the USA on March 15 with the aim of repairing the image of Italy, which had been badly damaged in the first phase of the COVID-19 epidemic. The great success of #StandUPforItaly pushed the organizers towards this new campaign that is now opening up to the entire world.

This new call to stand up together still comes from Italy, however, as a country that promotes a model of life centered on the crucial value of human relations, solidarity and reciprocity.

Today paralyzed by the Coronavirus COVID-19 epidemic, our world discovers that it suffers from many fragilities that we will be able to overcome only by "rowing together" — as Pope Francis recalled on March 27, during an unforgettable moment of prayer in a desert San Peter square.

We think that a push towards a new economy and a new society may arise from this crisis if we all unite to build a global community centered on the harmonious relationship between technology and humanism.

The incentive to go further and broaden the campaign while staying deeply rooted in the values of Italianness, has come from the entrepreneurial, intellectual and institutional world in Italy and abroad, eager to find a social platform to share these values with the world.

The mechanism of #STANDUPTOGETHER - A Call from Italy is the same as in the previous campaign: short one-minute videos made with your mobile phone, where you can launch not only and emotional message, but also ideas and proposals with a global perspective.
