BMA's "Quarantine Island" to benefit Gateway Resilience Fund

ST. LOUIS - March 27, 2020 - PRLog -- Eight days ago, Big Muddy Adventure's founder and fearless leader, Michael F. Clark, decided to take up residency with his dog, Dolly, at an undisclosed location on the Mississippi River, which he's calling "Quarantine Island"!

Why did he do it? Because he's heeding the call for social distancing!

How long will he be there? Nobody knows!

BMA thought they'd have a little fun and do some good with Mike's getaway by asking people to pledge $1/$5/$10 for each day that he stays on Quarantine Island!

HOW TO PLEDGE

This is an honor system; if you want to pledge, put your name in the comment section with the amount you'd like to donate per day.

WHERE'S THE MONEY GOING

Once Mike's stay is over, people can make their donation directly to the Gateway Resilience Fund, which was recently established with the help of BMA owner Roo Yawitz. This fund supports the independent businesses in St. Louis that need us the most right now.

HOW TO STAY CONNECTED

BMA will receive daily updates and commentary from Mike, which they'll share directly via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/2muddy/), Twitter and Instagram.

So stay locked in to their socials and let's raise some money!

FYI

Mike has extensive experience with long distance paddling trips, completing the entire Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, so he's not afraid of extended stays of solitude!
