-- Today Launch fulfillment announced that it will be revamping their Pick and Pack section. The new section will feature new and wider bin locations that will store more product; new updated barcodes, and aisle markers to increase workflow. The news comes during a spike of growth for the company, no doubt related to the Corona Virus. The new pick and pack area will no longer contain Micro-bins, which house smaller products such as tinctures and pill bottles. The new wider bin locations will allow the company to up product storage space per sku and allow for quicker pick and replenishment times.
Launch Fulfillment has tripled their sales just in the last month and the revamp to the pick section indicates needed changes in order to accommodate the growth. "We've seen some small kinks that we wanted to iron out to help with our scalability,"
stated CEO Braden DiCristofano. "The updated Pick and Pack section will allow us to be faster on our picking but also as we replenish customer inventory. These changes are necessary growing pains"
Launch Fulfillment plans to have the changes in place by the beginning of April as spring gets into full swing. They are excited for the continual growth as a fulfillment center in Utah and the opportunities to serve companies both domestically and internationally.
