EDUKAN Consortium Announces Free Online Class Support for High Schools
EDUKAN to provide free online class resources to high school educators in their service areas to keep students on track with studies.
"As the coronavirus continues to spread and all prudent measures are applied for the safety and well-being of all of us, we want to step up and support our local students, many of whom will be taking classes from us and our consortium colleges in the future," said Esther Lahargoue, CEO of EDUKAN. "By providing our virtual platform at no cost to the high schools within our community service areas, we aim to provide options for continued and uninterrupted learning for high school students. This is a challenging time for all of us and we are particularly sensitive to the impact this has on the lives of our young learners."
EDUKAN would also like to thank the EDUKAN Board of Presidents for their continued support, as well as Canvas by Instructure, their cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS), for their generosity in offering this capability which can be accessed via the internet on a variety of smart devices. The platform provides a complete virtual learning environment to help students continue their coursework with their respective teachers.
