Tan Delta Launch the New: OQSx-G2 Sensor
Tan Delta Systems is pleased to announce the launch of the OQSx-G2 next generation real time oil condition monitoring sensor with significantly improved performance and flexibility.
The OQSx-G2 sensor uses Tan Delta's enhanced FSH™ core technology to continuously analyse oil condition in real time with a condition change detection sensitivity of 0.01% (10ppm). The sensor works in any oil type (for example engine, gearbox, hydraulic and insulating) and instantly detects and measures even the smallest condition change; no matter the cause (wear and/or contamination)
An extremely accurate condition of oil is continuously reported as a simple Tan Delta Number (TDN) which can be displayed on existing equipment monitoring displays or on one of our dedicated display units.
The data produced by the OQSx-G2 is of the highest quality and integrity which delivers unmatched insight into the health and status of your equipment. This enables unrivalled accurate trending and identification of oil end of life to dramatically reduce oil use and waste, extended maintenance schedule intervals without risk, and in the end significantly reduced equipment operating costs. Also, enabling the earliest detection of potential equipment issues before any damage, so that preventative maintenance can be undertaken.
Chris Greenwood, Managing Director said: "The OQSx-G2 is the accumulation of nearly a decade of technology R&D, experience and customer feedback. The new architecture allows us to offer a range of flexible solutions at attractive price points for any application from the largest ship engines to high volume automotive. Experience shows us that equipment operators using oil condition monitoring from Tan Delta can significantly reduce their operating costs, whilst also benefiting the environment by reducing annual oil consumption by up to 30%."
