By: International City Theatre A USO show is threatened with cancellation when a certain famous trio of singing sisters fails to show up, so it's left to three earnest and determined stagehands to go on with the show. Mistaken identities, zany adventures, a bit of cross-dressing and the music of an entire generation highlight this valentine to the heroes of World War II. A triple-threat cast of four is accompanied by a sizzling live band. Together, they deliver over 25 songs made famous by the Andrews Sisters, including "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "Slow Boat to China," "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree" and "Ac-Cent-Tchu- Bean is best known for the long-running off-Broadway hit The Marvelous Wonderettes (18 months at the Westside Theatre), along with the sequels Wonderettes: The Andrews Brothers runs Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m., Feb. 21 through March 8. Two preview performances take place on Wednesday, Feb. 19 and Thursday, Feb. 20, both at 8 p.m. Tickets are $49 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, and $52 on Sundays, except for Feb. 21 (opening night) for which tickets are $55 (includes a post show reception) or $125 (includes a pre-performance dinner in addition to the post-show reception).
