Follow on Google News | Lead, Inc. Trains Its First Class Of National InstructorsBy: Let's Empower, Advocate, and Do All Academy attendees, many of which are flying from across the country, have registered to become an instructor of one or more of the following three-hour courses: (1) Corporate Mental Health certification; These courses, designed by LEAD's clinical Board and executive team, are the nation's first evidence-based certifications tailored to individuals' specific environments (i.e. professionals in a workplace, students at school or in college, camp counselors working at a summer camp, and a student or professional athlete on a sports team. The courses provide participants with practical and tangible strategies to identify early signs and symptoms of mental illness and seek appropriate professional help before experiencing a crisis. LEAD's innovative curricula are designed to improve early intervention for mental illness, build resilience, and empower communities. "It's the proactive approach!" We look forward to credentialing the first graduating class of fifteen national LEAD instructors at the upcoming Academy, multiplying our organizational impact by seven times nationwide! More instructors means more companies, sports teams, summer camps, and schools can be certified by LEAD Instructors. Thus, more individuals can be given the life-saving gift of proactive mental health education.
