-- The Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce invites businesses to connect after a busy summer season starting with a information packed September 11 Innovate & Caffeniate breakfast meeting featuring the Director of Small Business Advocacy from NJ Business Action Center, Don Newman, Opening Remarks from Professor John Boyle of Stockton University Business School and update from Census 2020 Partnership. The meeting at the Mainland is just the start of a wide variety of events that extends into the holiday season.
This fall is filled with informative, social and promotional events that makes doing business in the Long Beach Island region accessible and sustainable. Monthly Women in Business roundtables, Non Profit Forum, Chowderfest Merchant Mart and Cook Off, Innovate & Caffeniate Breakfast Meetings, After Hour Office Party Networking, and other interactive member experiences including Google Holiday Livestream, Shop Small Saturday and Holidays Redefined Shopping campaigns and their not to be missed festive Holiday Cocktail Party taking place in Hotel LBI. The chamber continues to partner with leaders throughout the state to bring the latest information to such as Stockton University, Ocean County College , New Jersey Business Action Center, Google for Business, other entities such as NJ Division of Travel and Tourism, Ocean County Board of Freeholders and the US Small Business Administration contribute to events that are timely and impactful. The planning the chamber five year strategic plan will be the focus for 2020 and will kick off with a not to be missed January State of the Chamber.
