When there is decomposing debris lying around, it can make it harder for the surrounding vegetation to absorb nutrients. Hauling away old twigs, branches, and leaves will promote a healthy environment where your plants and trees can grow.
Pruning your trees not only helps keep your yard neat, but it also helps keep your trees healthy. Cutting away damaged or dead branches help to regulate its size and reduce the chances of harmful bacteria entering into healthy areas. Make sure to always use clean shears to prune your tree and don't cut more than a quarter of its branches.

Not only is it environmentally friendly, but it will also leave you with a pristine yard that will flourish all summer.
