Follow on Google News | Move Over Jarvis, Wisp is HereFully-integrated Artificial Intelligence Assistant being developed as an Integrated Voice Interface Solution for Buildings
By: Neovate Systems The vast majority of housing still uses manual electric switches, and most advancements in "smart living" have been either proprietary smart home hardware that is expensive and therefore slow to be adopted, or limited in its scope of what it does. This seems to be changing now as Wisp is being built as an AI interface that brings smart future living towards mass adoption. Wisp is an intelligent voice and gesture interface that will allow residents in their homes and offices to interact with their living spaces using natural speech and simple waving gestures; controlling lights, temperature, entertainment, appliances, security as well as the buildings' facilities and city services, regardless of the manufacturer of the appliances. It will also act as the built-in butler that connects to the building's property manager's platform to review and pay bills, book facilities, and control visitor access. Wisp will also be able to handle interfacing with a variety of the city's local services, enabling reserving a table at a café, calling an Uber or taxi service, ordering deliveries from restaurants and grocery stores, sending flowers, etc. Having secured their first full integration project in Asia, several arrangements with township developers, and initial agreements with fiber-optic infrastructure and broadband providers, Wisp will be launched initially to around 250,000 subscribers. "True AI assistants should be able to carry complex conversations and understand our intentions. They should be able to complete complicated tasks and actually build a companionship by learning and remembering what we like, and function in a way to save us time and make our lives easier," says Sam Helmy, Founder and CEO of Neovate. Findings from the 2017 Accenture Digital Consumer Survey state consumers across the globe reveal increasing demand and deeper interactions with digital voice assistants. Canalys predicted that the AI standalone assistants will approach the 100-million mark by the end of 2018, making it almost 2.5 times bigger than at the end of 2017. The market will keep growing, more than doubling in size to reach 225 million units by 2020, a faster rate of distribution then web or mobile. To meet such global needs, Wisp development is designed to adopt a multitude of World languages and English accents as spoken in Asia, Middle East, and Europe. The platform will be localized to every city in order to provide access to the most popular digitally available services from ride-sharing apps to online shopping and payment gateways. -Ends- For more info: https://wisp.my End
