NextUse Launches ITAD Quick Switch Program
With major player Arrow Electronics exiting the space, NextUse offers a solution
Arrow announced that it has initiated actions to close its personal computer and mobility asset disposition business as well as its enterprise IT asset disposition (ITAD) and data center decommissioning services and expects operations to cease by the end of 2019. In an open letter to its customers, Arrow noted that July 22 is the last day to schedule equipment pickups and August 5 marks the last day shipments will be received.
As more and more businesses migrate to the cloud, finding ethical, thorough and certified ITAD practices are critical to data security. As such, the global IT asset disposition market is expected to pass the $19 billion mark by 2022 and Arrow's impending departure from the space has its clients scrambling to fill the void.
In order to alleviate the pain and panic felt by these organizations, NextUse has announced its Quick Switch program (https://nextuse.us/
