David Duffett Named Developer Community Manager at Cloudonix, Inc

NEW YORK - July 9, 2019 - PRLog -- Cloudonix is delighted to announce and welcome David Duffett as the company's Developer Community Manager. In this position, David will be responsible for leading both strategy and execution in building a program to engage, educate, and excite Cloudonix's developer community. He will interact closely with Cloudonix's developer advocate and content team, as well as product managers and product marketing. David will be the face of the company in the developer community, speaking at events and encouraging members to interact and share tricks, help, and best practices. David has over 25 years of experience in the world of communications technology and has previously served as Worldwide Community Director for Asterisk and FreePBX. David brings a wealth of experience with him to further engage and unite the Cloudonix developer community.

David Duffett is an expert in communicating technical subjects and issues to audiences of different levels, on topics such as Mobile Networks, Computer Telephony, Asterisk, and Voice Over IP. David has many titles under his belt, among them published author, chartered engineer, public speaker, and globally experienced trainer. His public speaking has spanned the globe and he has spoken at many key conferences, such as AsterConference ASIA, IT Expo, Speech World,CommCon, ClueCon, and VoIP Developer, to name a few. David has been published on a number of occasions. His works include 'Asterisk 1.4: The Professional's Guide' (Packt, co-author) as well as his contribution of the chapter on Internationalisation found in 'Asterisk: The Definitive Guide' (O'Reilly). He is also behind the 'Let the Geek Speak' initiative to help technical people present in public.
