Polyurethane foam for automotive roofing, sound acoustic filtering and other applications

SINGAPORE - May 10, 2019 - PRLog -- Polyurethane (PU) is a compound used in a many industrial and consumer applications.  Primarily, it is a plastic compound which can be rigid or flexible or foamed.  These capabilities expand PU's application to a broad area.  Polyurethane foams are manufactured through the reaction of glycol (Polyol), an isocyanate (TDI)(toluene diisocyanate) and water.  This reaction done in a controlled environment will foam the Polyurethane buns.  Polyurethane foams are either open cell structured which contain pores that are connected to each other or closed cell which do not have interconnected pores.
