Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have the potential to transform the way people work. This positive disruption of the traditional software and technology industry, as well as the creative industries, has opened up new career avenues for people looking to build a career in these technologies. However, students are not fully aware of the applications and emerging use cases. Connect2Teach's Here2Teach initiative helps bridge the gap to help students understand industry applications, career options and network with industry leaders. It also helps companies recruit through direct interaction with students.

Financial Times is one of the leading companies in the media industry and has successfully integrated technology in its operations to deliver customized content, increase readership and enhance user experience. Students and faculty of undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral courses can learn new applications in the media industry, find out about skills required to pursue a career and network with industry professionals.

Jeremy Silver, CEO, Digital Catapult, commented: "Digital Catapult works with academia and businesses to help harness the power of AI to bring transformative changes across the manufacturing and creative industries. The potential for machine learning and AI in the media sector is huge, not just in increasing efficiency in production but also in increasing the quality of engagement with consumers."
