InnoSTARS Delivers Emerging Tech Growth Opportunities in Michigan

InnoSTARS tech competition opens Michigan preliminaries to compete for China Innovation trip

DETROIT - March 21, 2019 - PRLog -- Michigan has become a tech hot bed.

A recent report (https://bit.ly/2O02j37) places the Great Lakes State in the top 20 technology epicenters in the country.

InnoSTARS calls on all Michigan entrepreneurs seeking investors and partnerships globally to apply at no cost for a 10-minute pitch.

The pitches will be judged at the IoT TechConnect conference happening on April 29 at the Michigan Science Center in Detroit.

Finalists will visit China on a sponsored trip this fall to compete for cash prizes and connect with potential partners and investors.

The preliminary applications are open for Michigan until April 15.

"In Michigan, we're focusing on a wide-range of industries, including battery technology, commercial transportation, IoT, and vehicle monitoring," said Min Fan, COO of the US China Innovation Alliance.

The IoT TechConnect conference in Detroit will feature keynote speaker Autonomous Vehicle expert Lawrence D. Burns, formerly General Motors Corporate Vice President of Research and Development.

In its third year, InnoSTARS has attracted over 1,000 U.S. technology companies, 100 of which have been selected to participate in sponsored trips to China.
