Dr. Marshall is both a veterinarian and an innovator in the animal health care field. She has served as a member of the Founding Management Team of Banfield Pet Hospitals, VP of Customer Experience and Chief Veterinary Officer at Trupanion, Inc., Chief Relationship Manager at Sikka Software, Inc. Animal Health Division, Consulting Chief Experience Officer at Principle Imaging Corporation, Co-Founder of Nanoport Technologies, and Founder of Veterinary Health Trends, LLC.

She was also a lead innovator in Banfield's proprietary electronic pet health record system, PetWare, and their custom Picture Archiving Communication System, PACS, for Digital Radiology. She has contributed to patents for Mars, Inc for Medical Record Sharing, and for Trupanion as Inventor of Trupanion Express - an integrated claims system that pays veterinarians directly at point of care.
