About Project Access
The mission of Project Access is to be the leading provider of vital health, education, and employment service for families, children, and seniors living in low-income housing communities. Founded in 1999, with a goal to give low-income families the tools needed to break the cycle of poverty by becoming healthier, further educated, and financially stable. Project Access programs take place at Family and Senior Resource Centers located directly within low-income housing communities. This unique model of service delivery allows Project Access to directly impact the lives of hard to reach pockets of underserved, impoverished families and builds trust while also eliminating a significant service barrier—a lack of reliable transportation. We believe in eliminating barriers and setting individuals up for success. Project Access currently works with more than 60 communities in California, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada, Tennessee, Illinois, and North Carolina providing low-income families and seniors with programs and services that address health and wellness, economic stability, education for youth, and community building. Project Access, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with corporate offices in Orange, California.
