U.S. Bank Continues Partnership with Project Access In Southern California

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. - Dec. 17, 2018 - PRLog -- U.S. Bank and Project Access renewed their long-standing partnership with the announcement that the bank is "adopting" the Family Resource Centers at Stratford Place/Windsor Court in the city of Westminster in Orange County and Celadon Apartments near downtown San Diego.

Through Project Access and its "Adopt-A-Center" program, banks and other corporate partners donate $5,000 or more annually, with the funds going directly to support programs and services conducted onsite at their selected Family Resource Center. Program partners have an opportunity to renew the commitment each year, and their employees are encouraged to become actively involved at the centers, conducting financial literacy workshops, participating in team-building programs and supporting on-site events, such as holiday parties. In turn, the corporate partners are highlighted in monthly Resource Center newsletters, in the Project Access quarterly newsletter and other Project Access communications tools, and have a recognition plaque in each of the centers they adopt.

"Through programs like Adopt-A-Center, we invest in the communities where we live and work," said Manuel Rodriguez, U.S. Bank San Diego Market President. "That's at the heart of our Community Possible giving and engagement platform focused on the areas of Work, Home and Play."

"We are thrilled to have the extended support of U.S. Bank and its employees by helping Project Access create lasting change in the lives of individuals living in low-income housing apartments," said Project Access CEO and President, Kristin Byrnes.
