LeFridge brings over 40 years of management and administrative experience from the private and government sectors. She served over 15 years working inside a foundation, ten years of which was in various executive board positions. LeFridge introduces the inaugural annual membership and donation drive event, Mingle and Merlot. This event offers a platform to interface with the community and share the foundation's objectives. This is also an opportunity to share the organization's vision as well as upcoming community initiatives with a goal of increasing membership and donations toward scholarships and event programming. LeFridge's vision is, "for Clarissa Manuel Foundation to become a highly valued community partner in the City of Long Beach, and neighboring communities, by expanding our capacity to positively impact minority families and the community through supportive education and programming." • Educational Academic Awareness • Financial Independence • Physical & Mental Well-Being By focusing on these areas, the foundation will provide tools for the community to thrive in perhaps three of the most important parts of life: knowledge, finance and health. An educated community strives to create and build. A financially independent community creates wealth for itself and grows. A healthy community doesn't create a burden on itself or society as a whole.
