The Clarissa Manuel Foundation collects donations for Covid-19 relief efforts

LONG BEACH, Calif. - June 2, 2020 - PRLog -- In the wake of current events, the Clarissa Manuel Foundation (CMF) desire to remain vigilant in our efforts to connect with the community around us. We have worked tirelessly in preparation for a successful 2020 year of outreach. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we have moved a number of our efforts for impact into the 2021 year. Though we stride forward, we do so with hopeful endeavors.

As we enter stage two of the stay at home orders instituted through California Government, the Foundation is looking to remain present and active in our community. We are proud to introduce our CMF COVID-19 Relief "Drive & Drop" Donation Collection to be held on Saturday June 6, 2020. Our Drive-thru donation provides a great opportunity for you to be involved in our community, while maintaining social distancing. You can simply drive by and drop off your donations in one of our CMF marked donation boxes.

WHEN: Saturday, June 6, 2020

WHERE: Starbucks located at 281 E. Willow St. Long Beach, CA 90806

TIME: Anytime between 9 AM and 12 PM

We are currently collecting the following essential and personal hygiene products to provide to the Long Beach Rescue Mission.

(1) Package of Adult Socks
(1) Kid's Blanket
(1) Package of Paper Towels
(1) Package of Toilet Paper

This event is open to the public. We encourage our community to take the necessary precautions to maintain a safe social distance at all times!
