Knight Sky to Demonstrate Progress on Pilot 2 Program at MILCOM 2018

The program's goal is to enhance flexibility, affordability, and resiliency of the Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM enterprise, it will demonstrate an Order of Magnitude improvement in SATCOM capabilities through expanded usage of commercial systems and technologies. Knight Sky has been able to demonstrate that the FMI concept must encompass all elements of deployed satellite terminals. Knight Sky will demonstrate how deployed SATCOM terminals can roam between multiple service provider networks as a means to achieve load balancing, rapid mission response and threat mitigation.
Knight Sky was awarded the USAF SMC Pilot Program Phase 2 on February 1, 2018 through the C5 Consortium for Command, Control and Communications in Cyberspace.
Demonstrations will take place during conference hours on Monday, October 29, Tuesday, October 30, and Wednesday, October 31st 2018, with multiple demonstrations being conducted each day.
