CARRHURE filled the Director of Research and Innovation position of CORAF

PARIS - Sept. 27, 2018 - PRLog -- The West and Central Africa Council for Agricultural Research and Development (CORAF), a not for profit international association of National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) from 23 countries in West and Central Africa, selected Dr. Jalloh as the organization's Director of Research and Innovation.

Carrhure was retained by CORAF last September 2017 to fill this position and after a few weeks, Dr. Jalloh was the one selected.

Under the supervision of its Managing Director, Ms. Auree de Carbon, the team was able to tailor its approaches to meet CORAF's expectations and needs through transparency, constant communication, and due diligence.

Dr. Abdulai Jalloh has 30 years of solid agricultural research for development experience working in multidisciplinary teams and collaborating with local and international development partners as well as leading research teams and administrations. He has considerable ability and experience in mobilizing funds, and implementing and coordinating externally funded programs/projects with international NGOs like AusAid, DFID, and ECOWAS. He has proven his capacity to link research outputs with development, food security, and poverty alleviation in the face of climate change. He has an extensive network of contacts from various organizations, including NARS, CGIAR, as well as donors and development practitioners across West and Central Africa (WCA). He is a focused and results-oriented leader with the passion to build the capacity of the national research system.
